[Ever since the blizzard a week ago, ν-13 has been staying away from the village, instead roaming through the forest. Today, however, one may notice her wandering through the village. She doesn't seem to be headed to any specific location - rather, it almost seems as if she's... searching for someone? How strange.

...Who could she possibly be looking for? Who knows, but one thing is safe to say - this cannot end well.]

[ooc: Forwarddated to the 18th. And, well, mun is technically on slowatus, but since this post is somewhat time sensitive... yeah. And for those wondering what's going on, well... Back during the blizzard, this little conversation happened, which basically led to ν-13 deciding that Noel needs to be eliminated. She fully intends to carry out her threat - hence why she's looking for someone now. Yep. :|b ]

[Oh shit son. Noel's able to hear the blade coming from behind and manages jump out of the way before it skewers her. When she turns to face Nu, she stiffens up; just like before, that terrible feeling is back. Something's... lingering. But Noel's going to ignore it despite how badly it's making her head suddenly feel.

She summons Bolverk, though mostly for defense. Notice how she's backing away? Noel wants to follow Ragna's advice on this, but it looks like Nu's going to give her a hard time on it.]

W-Why... why are you doing this!? [What the hell did she do? Ow, head.]

[ν-13'll be approaching... slowly. Why is she doing this? Think back to what she told Ragna while that tea party was going on, Noel - you should already know the answer. That's not what she'll say this time, though.]

...Any obstructions to the directive must be eliminated. [And Noel has certainly proven herself to be an obstruction by now, unfortunately.

And with that out of the way, she's stopping for a brief moment...]

[...And a few seconds later, she's going to dash at Noel to close the distance between them. ν-13 may be more capable at long-range combat thanks to her drive blades, but the last time she relied on them too much, Noel managed to get away. Which is mostly because she was struck by lightning courtesy of Nami, but details, details. So this time, it's time to mix her strategy up a little!

...Which in this case means that if ν-13 should manage to get close enough, she'll be going for a downward slash at Noel using her normal blades. If not? Well, we'll see if that turns out to be the case~]

[The worst thing about this is that Nu decided to fight in the middle of town. Not cool, my successor. Not cool. In any case, Noel's going to block the attack using Bolverk before backing away again. Persuasion first. Persuasion is good. It's also good when you're trying to walk out of the village in an attempt to get Nu in an area where she can't hurt others.]

D-"Directive"? What are you talking about!?

[Hey, she's the one who just so happened to be in the middle of the town at the wrong time. ν-13 would've attacked her if she had been anywhere else, too, you know! Clearly the predecessor's at fault this time~

Noel won't get an answer to that question - if she doesn't recall what their directive is, then too bad. Explaining it would probably just lead to her interfering again, and that's something ν-13 really doesn't want to deal with. This whole situation is troublesome enough for her the way it is, so she might as well try not to make it even worse.]

...Disappear. [That, just now? That's the only warning Noel will get before ν-13 launches her blades at her with one quick gesture; one at a time, yes, but in rapid succession. Try not to get hit, Noel~]

[Fine, then. No more miss nice Noel. Noel will attempt to block some of those blades, though a few do end up cutting her up a bit. She'll wait for Nu to finish shooting those damn things at her before countering with a few Armagus explosions optic barrel. If the attacks hit, she'll follow it by rushing in and attempting to smack Nu across the head with Bolverk in an attempt to knock her out.]

[These attacks? Are not going to hit this time. Why? Because once ν-13 finishes launching the final blade, she's going to dash towards Noel... and seemingly disappears while doing so. Huh. And by the time she can be seen again, she's behind Noel rather than in front of her. Act Parser does that. But rather than attack, she'll use the chance to go for a grab instead. And if that should work, well... we'll see if that happens~]

[And that means that ν-13's going to lift Noel off the ground. Now, what to do... She could simply use her blades to stab her while she's unable to dodge, but, well... That wouldn't be very fun, even if it would be a quick way to get rid of her ever-so-irritating predecessor.

So instead, she'll settle for something a little different...]

...Yes, that means she's letting go of you, Noel. Might want to think about what to do next, though, because once she recovers from that kick - and that won't take long - she'll no doubt try to retaliate~]

[Oh hell no. She's not going to get away that easily. Why? Because as soon as ν-13 recovers from that kick...]

Open the rift. [...She's summoning a sawblade-like drive blade in front of Noel. Which is now spinning along the ground towards her. Yep. Sickle Storm is fun.]

...The continued existence of the target is a violation as well as an obstruction to the directive. [In other words, Noel's doing something wrong by simply existing, according to ν-13. Isn't she nice.

And now? She's slowly raising her hands into the air. Someone's preparing for a Distortion Drive. Might want to do something, and fast, Noel, unless you'd like to be impaled by several dozen drive blades in a second or two~]

What!? [She caught some of that. A violation? What the fuck. There was no time to think, though. Noel can already tell Nu's about to hit her with something big, and getting out of the way isn't going to help. So, what does she do?

Counter with her own distortion! Remember this, Nu? That giant machine gun aimed straight at you?]

Zero Gun: Fenrir! [And now, the bullets. Lots of them. This is really just to incapacitate you, though. Long enough to get away.

... Something's a little different this time, though. The power, perhaps?]

[Indeed, she remembers that - but unfortunately, since she was about to attack herself, she's unable to block. Which means that every single shot hits. Needless to say, that hurt. A lot. Counter hits are annoying, dammit.

...Yeah, she's going to be down for a moment. Now's definitely a good chance for Noel to get away.

But something... something felt different about that attack compared to the previous time they fought. You'll have to give her a moment to figure that out on her own, though...]

[About two minutes later, ν-13 will get up again - slowly, but nonetheless. So this attempt ended in a failure, huh...?

...Well, not a total failure, at least. She did notice something - something felt completely different this time.]

[That last attack. When Noel used that distortion, something about it was different from last time.]

What... was that...? [Something about it seemed... familiar. In fact, it seemed almost like...]

...The Azure...? [...No doubt about it. That power she felt for when Noel did that distortion - that was that of the Azure Grimoire. But isn't Ragna the one who's supposed to have it? Then that means...]

Is that there's going to be an ever-so-minor change to ν-13's directive.

...And that Noel won't have to worry about ν-13 trying to kill her anymore. But that's not necessarily a good thing~...]
