[Those passing through the plaza today might find themselves noticing something rather... odd placed near the fountain.

Apparently, someone - presumably the Malnosso - has decided to place a treasure chest next to the fountain. And not just any: this particular treasure chest seems to be large enough that it could hold quite the large amount of treasure. In fact, it's big enough that it wouldn't be hard for an adult to hide in there.

Those who decide to investigate the chest might notice something a little peculiar about it, however. Not only does it seem to lack a lock, but if one listens closely while near it, they might just be able to pick up the faint sound of breathing coming from inside the chest, as if whatever were in there is, in fact, alive... and likely asleep, judging from how slow the breathing is.

Maybe someone should investigate? Of course, whatever or whoever is within the chest could be dangerous, so perhaps it'd be best to tread with caution if one decides to check just what is contained in it.]

[Normally, she'd at least try not to mention her designation, since it often tends to throw people off, but right now, she doesn't really care much about that. And that blaster-arm armor certainly doesn't go unnoticed, but as long as he doesn't use it against her, she'll simply remain as cautious as she always is.]

[If Albert is planning to close the chest again, he might want to do so quickly. With ν-13 being a light sleeper anyway and Korogo sniffing at her like that, it's likely that she's not going to stay asleep for much longer.

...In fact, she's already starting to stir a little. It probably won't be much longer until she's awake, it seems.]

[And he didn't end up in anyone's bathtub, either. Really, the Malnosso have a strange sense of humor sometimes.

That said, that question prompts little more than yet another blank look.]

Assistance is... not required. [She can get home just fine. She's fine, the village seems to be the same as usual judging from what she can tell right now, and as long as she's quick, it shouldn't be too dangerous to head back on her own.]

[It seems that Albert's efforts are having some effect; Kogoro keeps moving and squirming as he's shooed, until he finally relents and drops his paws from the lip of the chest.

However, a sigh of relief barely passes the man's lips before Kogoro has sprang up and into the treasure chest--with the lid thudding shut as a startled Albert lets go.

[Playing dumb would likely work better if that feigned concern wasn't falling on deaf ears right now. With her waking up as a result of someone kicking that chest like that, she's a bit more on alert than usual - and it shows in her response.]

...Requesting identification of target. [She's pretty certain that she hasn't met this guy before. So... asking for his identity certainly can't hurt. He doesn't seem hostile so far, but...]

[Except... there's no shinies inside this particular treasure chest, it seems. Unless you count that blade ν-13 uses to keep her hair in a braid, anyway. No, all Fujiko will find in that chest is a sleeping silver-haired girl, clinging to a black sling bag. Not a very spectacular "treasure," is it?]

Affirmative. [That's... what pretty much everyone calls her, anyway. Hearing someone actually refer to her with her entire designation would probably be a little strange at this point.]

[And quite the strange girl that she seems to always look at him funny when he's trying to just be polite. But then, he can understand paranoia just fine. It's just making him wonder what has been done to this girl to make her act like that.]

Then I shall not stay any longer if I am not needed. I bid you farewell and do hope you get back to your residence safely.

[And he's about to walk off, but it seems he's gotten his foot caught up in the numerous frills and skirts this outfit has. It will take a moment while he detangles it and tries to prevent himself from ending up on the ground. Really, Joshua did make walking in this look far too easy.]

...All systems within normal operating parameters. [In other words, she's pretty much fine. There is a carmine-colored stain on her right glove, but it doesn't seem to be the result of an actual injury - more likely than not, it's just a remnant of an older wound.]

[And needless to say, that is more than enough to abruptly rouse the Murakumo from her slumber. It's pretty hard to miss both the lid suddenly thudding shut like that and having a dog leap into the chest without warning like that.]

Eh—? [...Okay. Why is she in what feels like a really cramped place, what was that noise just now, and why is there a dog here?

Give her a moment to actually process the situation and work out what to do. This is... incredibly confusing.]

[Wouldn't just about anyone be paranoid if they've been attacked without warning in the past, especially when it was seemingly for the sake of getting back at someone they care about? She certainly is... but even without that, she's just not exactly the trusting type. Although that blank look has less to do with that and more to do with her programming...

She won't be responding to Leonhardt this time. Rather, once he attempts to walk off, she'll slowly hover out of the chest, prepared to start heading back to her own apartment. If he's still paying attention, Leonhardt will probably be able to witness that.

[Of course he's still paying attention. He always is paying very careful attention to everything around him even if he's stuck being defenseless for however long this experiment lasts.

So he does catch her hovering out of the chest from the corner of his eye and starts looking in that direction as he detangles himself from the dress.

And because now he's not paying nearly as much attention to the effort of detangling himself, he overdoes it a bit more than needed and causes part of the skirt to flip over his head.

Thankfully the Malnosso weren't too accurate and he's not wearing female undergarments to go with this outfit and he had the decency to wear something under the skirt just in case something like this happened. She'll catch on real fast that he's the type of guy to prefer boxers and then he'll at least quickly have the skirt back where it should be.]

I do not think I will ever understand how a woman can walk in this and make it look so effortless.

... [Well, fortunately for Leonhardt, ν-13's not the type to comment on this sort of thing. Not in this mode, anyway. So while that little sight just now might have prompted a playful giggle if she were in her other mode, as it is, it just earns Leonhardt a curious look and nothing else.

...She kind of agrees with his comment. If it weren't for her ability to hover, she couldn't imagine maneuvering around in that kind of outfit, honestly. How do some people make that seem so... simple?]
